The MK 7 retains the original features of it's predecessor the MK 5 with some additional improvements. We have upgraded the metal gauge and configuration creating an even more substantial design which allows for greater sense of purity and sweetness.
The natural and relaxed sound offers a greater sense of realism and harmonic refinement.
Beautifully contoured, USA crafted, the MK 7 allows low level listening for those late nights when you need to keep your volume down but your don't want to lose transparency or inner detail...the sound is still alive and quite vivid.
The sound is transparent, instruments have better delineation and placement on the sound stage. The bass has added extension, definition and authority and the overall dynamic contrasts and musical shadings all take your speakers to higher performance levels [offers 2 different elevations to help with subwoofer integration].

The MK NXT MultiRisers were originally designed specifically for the new Magnepan .7x but when they were placed and voiced on the LRS+ and other smaller Maggies it was a WOW! moment. They take those speakers to a new performance level especially in regard to definition and inner detail. They are truly a breakthrough design in their ability to reveal the temporal [timing and related nuance and the separation of specific instruments throughout recordings - even complex passages.] This temporal resolution opens up new vistas in stand performance and musical insights. Almost every recording I listen to with the speakers on these stands reveals new insights in nuance and instrumentation - there is a directness of sound that commands your attention.
The MK NXT has three different height options with an additional lower elevation that allows owners to maximize the bass coupling with the floor for those who prefer the more full-bodied sound of the factory stands but who also want the added performance gains of our intentional designs.
